Hello everyone! My name is Jared Rademacher and I am the host of the First News Morning on AM 730 KWOA. A little bit about myself; I am proud to say that I have lived most of my life in Southwest Minnesota. Born and raised on the Rademacher family farm south of Okabena. I am a graduate of the 1996 class at Heron Lake-Okabena-Lakefield and a 2001 graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in Mass Communications.
My family is a very important part of my life. My parents are Jim and Cheri Rademacher and I have an older brother, Chris. He and his wife Melissa have 3 kids, Isabella, Alexandra and Aidan and live down in Ankeny, Iowa. (My brother swears he never roots for the Hawkeyes). I also have an older sister, Jen Rademacher, who is a teacher and basketball and golf coach at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in the Twin Cities.
Sports has always been a big part of our family’s life and continues to be a passion of mine to this day. I am the play-by-play announcer for Worthington Trojan and Minnesota West Sports on FM 104.3 the Party. I have had the privilege of covering some amazing athletes and it’s always enjoyable to see how well our area athletes compete on the field and carry themselves off the field as well.
Football: Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Golden Gophers
Basketball: Gophers and North Carolina Tar Heels. Timberwolves in NBA
Baseball: Minnesota Twins
