Alwal enters the record books at Mississippi State

Former Worthington Trojan Martha Alwal is re-writing the record books down at Mississippi State University. Alwal, now a junior with the Lady Bulldogs, has already broken the school’s all-time record for blocked shots in her career. With 3 blocked shots in the Lady Bulldogs only loss of the season to Middle Tennessee in the Championship Game at the Gulf Coast Showcase, Alwal broke the school record of 180 career blocked shots held by Chanel Mokango.

Farm Rescue Aids Record Number of Farm Families

JAMESTOWN, N.D, December 4, 2013 - Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization that provides planting and harvesting assistance free of charge to farm families who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster, has finished harvesting for 2013. 50 farm families were helped this year, and the reasons ranged from paralysis, broken bones, cancer and natural disasters.

Mountain Lake Area's Carter Kirk has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.

The Minnesota West Bluejays finished the season with a 6-3 record and had 4 players earn First Team All-Division this season in sophomore running back Reuben Linton II, sophomore linebacker Matt Shively, sophomore linebacker Cha'Ron Thompson and sophomore linebacker Dylan Hart.
