Bluejay Baseball hosting a Fall Clinic

The Minnesota West Bluejay Baseball team is hosting a fall clinic for baseball players from 5th grade all the way through a senior in high school.

The Clinic will be held on Monday nights at the Center for Health and Wellness on the Worthington campus from 6:30pm until 8:30pm beginning on October 16th and running until the last day of the clinic on November 20th.  The clinic will be facilitated by Minnesota West coaches and players with assistance from Windom native Mike Nesseth.

This clinic will focus on the DriveLine throwing program that will increase velocity, arm strength and arm health. The throwing program will help all players, regardless of position.

The clinic will introduce the DriveLine / Axe Bat Hitting Program, a new program that is going to be implemented with the Bluejay college team.  The program uses barrel loaded, handled loaded, and under loaded bats in combination with weighted PlyoCare balls.  The goal is to increase exit velocity and trajectory to increase power and distance.

The clinic will introduce strength and conditioning associated with DriveLine programs to increase power, core, upper and lower body development.

The cost of the clinic is $150 dollars per person.  Contact head coach TD Hostikka for more information and to register for the clinic.
