Cowdin steps down as Bluejay Wrestling head coach

Minnesota West Community & Technical College announces resignation of Bluejay head men’s wrestling coach, Bryan Cowdin. 

Cowdin was named head coach for the Bluejay wrestling team in 2018, after he served as the assistant wrestling coach in 2017. 

Cowdin’s personal wrestling accomplishments include NCAA All American, MCAC Wrestler of the Year, NJCAA All American, Team USA Wrestling, Minnesota State High School 4 time individual with 2 time champion, National Junior Freestyle placement, and Two-time All-World Team Finalist. 

“Bryan has done a great job recruiting for the 2019-2020 wrestling season.  We appreciate all of his efforts, and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” comments Minnesota West Men’s Athletic Director Bob Purcell.
