Former Trojan Emma Gerber earns All-GPAC honors in Volleyball

The Great Plains Athletic Conference has released their All-Conference Volleyball teams for the 2017 season and former Worthington Trojan Emma Gerber has been named to the All-GPAC Second Team in Volleyball this season

Gerber, now a sophomore for the Morningside Mustangs in Sioux City (IA), finished the season with 239 kills for an average of 2.41 kills per set.  She also had 5 solo blocks and 68 block assists this year for an average of 0.74 blocks per set.  Gerber had 11 double kill performances including a season-high 16 kills in a win against Doane University on September 22nd.

Morningside finished the season with an 18-12 record and 10-6 in Great Plains Atheltic Conference play.

Emma Gerber is the daughter of Jay and Julie Gerber of Worthington.
