Linder and Boneschans sign on to play football at Minnesota West

Minnesota West Bluejay Football Coach Jeff Linder was all smiles yesterday at Worthington High School as the Bluejays signed two Trojan Football standouts Tyler Linder and Nathan Boneschans

Linder, a multi-year starter for the Trojans at tight end and defensive end, is coming off a senior season where he had 21 catches for 343 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Boneschans started to see more reps at defensive end in his senior season and showed the ability to make big plays as Boneschans finished the season with 25 tackles, 3 and a half for a loss, along with 1 and a half sacks this season.  Boneschans had Worthington’s defensive play of the season against Luverne when he tipped a pass, intercepted it and returned it 88 yards for a touchdown.

Both players were named to the 2017 South Central Red All-District team this past season.

Radio Works Sports Director Jared Rademacher sat down with Tyler Linder and Nathan Boneschans after the signing.  Listen to the conversation with Tyler by clicking here and you can hear the talk with Nathan by clicking here
