Minnesota West announces new coaches and programs

Minnesota West Community & Technical College women's athletic director Rosalie Hayenga-Hostikka recently announced the hiring of three new head coaches for LadyJay teams. 

Former multi-sport MnWest standout Tanner Gunnink will lead the softball program in Worthington, while Rebecca Colon has taken over as the LadyJay volleyball coach.  Gunnick excelled in both basketball and softball for Minnesota West, earning Divisional, Conference and Regional honors.   Colon will lead her new team into the 2018 campaign on August 24 against Hibbing Community College. 

Also new to the Minnesota West athletic staff is women's soccer coach Jaymes Six, who will lead one of newest sport program for the LadyJays.  

Minnesota West Adds Male and Female Trapshooting Teams

Minnesota West Community and Technical College will be establishing a new competitive Trapshooting program. This program will be open to both Male and Female participants. Athletes will be able to shoot at 3 different locations. This will be a multi Campus Sport. Trapshooting locations will be held in Worthington, Canby, and Marshall.
