U of M 2012 Corn Hybrid Trial Results Available
Published by onResults of the University of Minnesota 2012 Corn Hybrid Variety Trials have been released online and are available for online viewing.
Results are based on replicated trials conducted at several locations for each maturity group. Southern locations included Lamberton, Rochester, and Waseca. Central locations included Hutchinson and Rosemont. Northern locations included Crookston, Fergus Falls and Staples.
In a year where tremendous variability was observed within fields, information from replicated trials like the University of MN trials is particularly valuable as replication helps account for variation within a field. Growers are also encouraged to select hybrids based on results from multiple locations.
Results will be published in the upcoming "Minnesota Varietal Trials Results" publication, which typically comes out by early January.
