He established his strong rural foundation in farming side-by-side with his father and grandfather. In 2008, Trent was recognized as the “Voice of Rural America” by the West Quest organization for his ground-breaking work in advocating for agriculture and speaking on behalf of the folks who would rather stay home and tend to their crops and livestock than take on those attacking their life-sustaining industry.

Garage Logic with Joe Soucheray
Joe Soucheray is the Twin Cities' preeminent purveyor of Common Sense. Well known for his philosophy that "anything that needs to be figured out, can be figured out in the garage," Joe became the self-appointed mayor of Garage Logic, Minnesota, and is also the Fireworks Commissioner. Garage Logic is more a state of mind than an actual place on a map, though thousands of actual maps have been sold to its many "residents." With a support crew consisting of producer Matt "Rookie" Michalski, newsman John Heidt, traffic reporter Kenny Olson, and the quippy Chris Reuvers. The program is a daily examination of the hottest topics impacting the Twin Cities, untangling the chaotic, and making them understandable with common sense and a sense of humor.
Sports Talk with Joe Soucheray and Patrick Reusse
Sure, there are lots of sports shows around the radio these day, but this is the one that started it all! SportsTalk has launched careers...created characters that led to new careers...and has even been used as the model for entire radio formats. Oh, they've tried to imitate SportsTalk™ over the years, but none have been able to duplicate the spontaneous hilarity, off-beat observations, and the antics that Joe Soucheray and Fulda native Patrick Reusse bring to the show.
The Ride with Reusse
Patrick Reusse & Phil Mackey debuted as a duo on 1500 ESPN Twin Cities in March 2010. Tabbed as The Curmudgeon and The Punk -- a play on Reusse's salty and sometimes-pessimistic attitude, and Mackey's youthful yet (self-admitted) false sense of entitlement -- Reusse & Mackey have quickly gained popularity with listeners due to their unique mix of in-depth sports talk, storytelling and biting banter. Not to mention, it's possible Reusse & Mackey may be the only sports radio tandem in the country with a 40-year age difference between them.
Market Rally w/ Chip Flory
Chip Flory, a well known voice, plays host host of Farm Journal Media’s 1-hour daily radio talk show, Market Rally. Market Rally’s goal is to be the go-to radio program for farmers and ranchers that are looking to dig deeper into the markets each afternoon.

Tune in with the Nordstrom Motor Medics every Wednesday afternoon for the Under the Hood Show with Shannon Nordstrom and Russ “The Super Tech” Evans.
Shannon is the parts wizard. You would be hard pressed to find another car/talk radio show host that has a parts knowledge like Shannon. Shannon’s full time job is as President of Nordstrom’s Auto Recycling in Garretson, SD. He is also an ASE Certified Engine and Parts Specialist. Shannon started Under The Hood in 1990 and has been having fun helping people with their cars on the show ever since.
Russ is the technical guru. Raised in the suburbs of the Motor City it left an early impression on Russ giving him a lifelong passion for cars. He is sometimes accused of being a "freak of nature" when it comes to his extensive knowledge of automotive systems. This acquiring of knowledge started way back in Michigan in the early 70s while living next to Ford automotive engineer John Locke. Russ writes articles for The Motor Market, a publication about cars and other motorized vehicles and a weekly answer column called Ask the Motor Medics. He is an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician with advanced level engine performance certification and has also earned certification through Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, AC Delco, and BMW. Being a host of a car/talk show is a dream job for Russ. Helping people and working with cars, he says it doesn't get better than that.
You will find these guys intriguing. Each week when you tune-in Under The Hood you will find no computers or reference guides are used in studio to answer questions. The most common question they have asked of them in public is “How do you guys remember all this stuff without computers?
