Area officers honored as DWI Enforcer All-Stars at Target Field

ST. PAUL — Last year in Minnesota, drunk driving crashes accounted for 104 deaths — 26 percent of the state’s total traffic deaths. More than 28,000 motorists were arrested for DWI. Tonight during the Minnesota Twins pre-game festivities, the DWI Enforcer All-Stars will be recognized for outstanding service in enforcement and prosecution of drunk driving.

Included in this year’s All-Stars are two area officers, Josh MCuen of the Worthington Police Department and Louis Norell of the Windom Police Department, both of whom will be honored, along with 32 others, tonight at Target Field.
