Library town hall meetings begin tonight, continue tomorrow

WORTHINGTON – Town hall meetings to provide information on possible Nobles County Library sites begin tonight in Adrian.

The public is invited from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight to the media center at the Adrian High School. The meeting will begin with a short presentation, then the public is invited to peruse boards that hold information on each separate site. Library staff and commissioners will be on hand to answer questions, and the public is invited to comment on whichever site they think would best suit Worthington.

There will be two meetings tomorrow – one directly after the Nobles County Commissioner meeting at approximately 11 a.m. in the commissioner room on the third floor at the Government Center, and a second from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Farmer’s Room.

The four sites under consideration include the Lampert Lumber Yard site, the old Campbell Soup site, the public works property on Diagonal Road and the old outdoor pool site.
