AFBF Dale Moore - 2012 Farm Bill

The 2012 general election is over; President Obama is re-elected, meaning Democrats retain SEnate and Republicans Retain House. According to, hopefully this means there is no reason to put off hard decisions on the looming fiscal cliff or consideration/forward movement on the 2012 farm bill. Many ag groups are hoping the farm bill will receive top priority, without having to resort to permanent law.

What does this mean? We revisit the history of the farm bill with Dale Moore (with the American Farm Bureau Federation) and what will happen if Congress continues to put off the farm bill after returning to session.
