SDSU Little International & Ecology ClubPublished by on
As we continue to celebrate Minnesota Ag Week and National Ag Week, we also check in at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, as this weekend is the annual Little International. This is a two-day agricultural exposition planned, organized, and implemented by students at South Dakota State University for the benefit of high school and college students. Little International is considered the largest two-day agricultural exposition in the country. The exposition provides students with an opportunity to compete in judging contests, showmanship competitions, and fitting challenges.
We'll catch up with the Little I Manager D.J. Buseman to talk the history of Little I, and what to expect for this year.
Then we turn to the SDSU Ecology Club. Does the name sound unfamiliar? That's because it's a brand new organization, founded by Gabrielle Maltaverne. We're talking the creation of the Ecology Club, the first year's activities, and what's on tap for 2014. Follow them online! https://www.facebook.com/groups/SDSUEcologyClub/
