Worthington High School Triple A Award Winners
Elizabeth Luke and Gordy Moore have been selected to represent Worthington High School in the Minnesota State High School League’s Triple “A” (Academics, Arts and Athletics) program.
The purpose of the award is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the fine arts. To be eligible for the Triple “A” award, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, must participate in League-sponsored athletics and fine arts activities, and must comply with the MSHSL’s Student Code of Conduct.

Minnesota West freshman guard Tyler Aquallo was named the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Southern Division Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Aquallo, a 6’3” guard from Rapid City, South Dakota, averaged 23.7 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 5.3 assists per game and 2.3 steals per game for the Bluejays last week as Minnesota West went 2-1, picking up wins over Central Lakes and Fond du Lac. Aquallo scored 32 points in Minnesota West’s loss to the Iowa Lakes Lakers last Wednesday.
