Worthington High School Eligibility Meeting set for July 31stPublished by on
On Thursday, July 31, 2014 there will be a meeting for all athletes and parents participating in sports at Worthington High School for the 2014-2015 school year. The general meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The agenda will include Minnesota State High School League rules, WHS academic eligibility rules, and attendance requirements for practice and game participation. Following the general meeting, each fall sport participant will meet their respective coaches to discuss team information, pay participation fees and sign the participation forms. All forms and fees must be turned in before the athlete will be allowed to practice.
Sanford Worthington is a proud supporter of Trojan athletics. As an added bonus this year at the eligibility meeting, Sanford Worthington physicians, rehab therapists, athletic trainer, nurses and support staff will be at the high school offering sports physicals to students who need them. From 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., your student can get a full sports physical at a low cost of $25. This will save you a trip to the clinic to have this done.
All 9th and 11th grade students must complete an ImPact Test (concussion) during the designated time for their sport.
