NDSCS had over 500 yards of total offense while the Bluejays were held to 152 yards of total offense. Minnesota West falls to 1-3 on the season and will have this weekend off before heading to Willmar to face Ridgewater on September 27th

--Minnesota’s lone score came in the 4th quarter on a touchdown pass from Chris Streveler to Maxx Williams. TCU had 427 yards of total offense while the Gophers had 268 yards of total offense and only 99 yards rushing. The Gophers are now 2-1 on the season and will host San Jose State on Saturday

NFL Football:
New England Patriots def. Minnesota Vikings 30-7
--It started well for the Vikings, scoring on their opening drive on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Matt Cassel to Matt Asiata. It was all New England after that, capitalizing on 4 interceptions from Cassel, returning one for a touchdown. The Patriots special teams also picked up a score, blocking a Blair Walsh field goal attempt and returning it for a touchdown. Without Adrian Peterson in the lineup, the Vikings rushed for only 54 yards on the day. Minnesota falls to 1-1 on the season and will hit the road to face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday

MLB Baseball:
Minnesota Twins def. Chicago White Sox 6-4
--Kurt Suzuki and Jordan Schafer had 2 RBI’s to lead the Twins at the plate. Schafer had a 2-run homerun in the 4th inning, his first of the year while Trevor Plouffe hit a solo homerun in the 2nd inning, his 14th of the season. Trevor May picks up his 3rd win of the season by going 6 innings and giving up 3 runs on 5 hits and struck out 10. Minnesota avoids the sweep attempt by the White Sox and improve to 63-86 on the season. The Twins are at home to start a series with the Detroit Tigers tonight.
